In order to strengthen coooperative marketing in the country , NAFED also undertakes procurement and marketing of agricultural commodities in joint venture with states Ccoperative Marketing Federations/ Marketing Cooperative Societies.

During the Year 2010-11, NAFED procured 1492 MTs of raw cotton valuing Rs 4.15 crore in joint venture with GUJCOT in the State of Gujrat and disposed off 4798 Bales of Cotton valuing Rs 5.23 crore during the year 2010-11.

In Addition , NAFED also procured 319 MTs of Paddy Valuing Rs 0.32 Croroe in Joint Venture and disposed of 879MTs of Paddy valuing Rs 0.90 crore during the year 2010-11
