During the year 2010-11, Nafed continued its efforts to provide fertilizers to the farmers at reasonable price.In the States of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, north-Eastern and the Southern states of India,NAFED marketed Urea,DAP,NPK and other Fertilizers valued at Rs 59.77 crores.Efforts are also being made to start the marketing of fertilizers in ahmedabad. The sale of fertilizers has been arranged by the concerned branches of NAFED through its own outlets, franchisees, dealers and member cooperative societies to the farmers even in the remotest areas.
